We visited yesterday afternoon. Great view and great service. Probably the first great winery coming in from DFW on Hwy 281, which is a great drive, by the way.

Beautiful weather today along with the view. Did some wine tasting and had some pizza. Awesome place to visit and the wines were great. Definitely recommend visiting.

Come for the wne, stay for the wine AND the food. This was a relaxing, totally enjoyable Texas Hill Country wine experience near Buchanan Lake on a busy Saturday that happened to coincide with the Malbec harvest. Felicia made sure our service for a wine tasting progressed smoothly, with no rush, even though the place was packed. We selected the Premium Wine Tasting with cheese pairing, which was superbly presented and a perfect accompaniment for the high quality wines.
The pizza was delicious; the wine varied and sophisticated. Will definitely return.

The staff here is super friendly and flexible. We hosted part of my best friend’s bachelorette party here and had a great time in the excellent weather.

The wines are varied and have a little something for everyone. I recommend the Syrah and the Fein Gold white wine for two unique crowd pleasers. They also offer a killer Cuban panini that was perfect for a winery lunch.

My pro tip here would be to skip the cairn (which can be reserved for a fee) in the summer months, as there’s no shade and no bathroom up on the hill. Otherwise, the privacy is wonderful and the seating is really cozy.

My one wish is for a little comfier seating inside but when a place has the offerings of this winery, that’s truly just a tiny ding.

I’m sure we will all be back soon!

Owners Blake & Karen DeBerry and their winery staff pulled out all the stops to make viewing of the April 08, 2024 total eclipse at their winery an experience of a lifetime. Jessica, the winery event coordinator helped in allowing us to join them on the big day. The grounds at the winery offer stunning views of Inks State Park, Buchanan Lake and the unspoiled valley below. We enjoyed the 2021 Albarino and 2021 Ruby Kate's Rose wines while there and had a great time visiting with Blake and many of the wineries club members. We brought a couple of bottles back from our visit.
House prepared food offerings are available to winery visitors and posted on the winery web site.
A Cousin's Maine Food truck supplemented the winery's food offerings on the day of the eclipse!
Suggest you add it to your list if you want a special experience in Texas' Hill Country.

Was just warning about low-slung cars potentially having issues in my 5-star review, and got gaslit.

Update since apparently “Any vehicle of any size or stature will have no problem on our road”. Cant wait to be in the area again to snag some photos of the entrance to see how obvious it is that many cars have scraped the bottoms of their cars on that steep grade. I was white knuckling in my M2 on the way down, and mine isn’t even lowered (which is relatively common for M2s).

Beautiful view, kind staff, and we really liked a few of their white wines.

Note though that it is a steep dirt road up; not great for a lower car.

Beautiful view of Inks lake. I'd sit here after a hike every day if I could. The view is magical. The people, food and wine complete the ideal lunch or treat for yourself. I felt like this was a treat for myself. It's a beautiful place with tasty food and drinks and I will go back.

This is a beautiful winery in the Hill Country outside of Burnet, TX. We had great service and their wines are very unique!
