Nice, clean room with view. No funny smells. Above and beyond customer service. It's so nice to have the shuttle available. Super breakfast. Affordable. The only negatives would be that the scrambled eggs had a little too much moisture, and one of the elevators' digital numbers didn't appear when reaching each floor. We definitely will stay here again next time we are in town. Thanks, Hyatt Place Tempe/Phoenix airport!!:)

We had the most lovely stay! Everyone we encountered who worked here was extremely friendly. There was even a nice woman who changed the TV to something for the kids while we ate breakfast, without us even asking. The breakfast bar was delicious, and they kept everything stocked well. The room was clean, and we loved the location and how close it was to everything! When we realized we forgot to pack a toothbrush and razor, they gave us a complementary one. When we lost a room key, they immediately replaced it. There are so many great things I can say about our stay! We would definitely return.

This is the best hotel ever! The evening staff and leadership are magnificent, the shuttle drivers are amazing and fun. The bartenders are hilarious and the food they offered was great. So refreshing to see coworkers happy, jovial with their management. What a great, fun, atmosphere. No one was in a bad mood, and the lobby was full of smiling faces from guests and hotel crew alike. Wonderful experience. I wish I wrote down all of their names, so I could name them individually. Just exceptional.

Adriano! Arranged for him to pick up my daughter from the airport as the hotel shuttle driver. We recognized him just by his sunny personality as we entered the hotel as he was getting off shift for the night. Rest of the room was great! Sleeps 6! Why don't all hotels offer this option at a reasonable price like Hyatt Place Tempe? Comfy beds. Interesting room set up. Would gladly stay again.

Stayed here for a company conference. The hotel was very clean and the staff super nice and welcoming. Normally hotel staff give the i don’t want to be here vibe but not here. All the staff were super helpful, always going the extra mile and most importantly always had a smile. Marisol and Elena were very attentive to us throughout our stay. As well as other staff that I wasn’t able to catch their name. They serve breakfast everyday with different options. Eggs (hard and scrambled), sausage patties & links, potatoes, waffles, french toast, tortillas, cereal, fruit and juice. The bar area also has some food options. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport. The room was clean and modern. The only issue I had was the TV only played 2 channels and there was no smart tv option. But other than that the stay was very nice. If I ever come back to the Phoenix area, I would be coming to stay here.

The hotel needs a make over. The rooms need upgrading. The bathroom area's are in need of renovation. The air conditioner and heating are old school. The staff was helpful. The shuttle service was great. Sunday's breakfast was outstanding. Everything in the room worked as designed.

First off, the front desk staff was more concerned about what was on the computer than the guest in front of her. The elevator lights did not work. Once in the room, it’s was not dusted, windows you could not see thru. Curtains falling down. The bathroom was so small that you had to step into the shower to shut the door so that you could use the toilet. There was no ice machine on the floor we were on if we wanted ice we had to go down and get the attention of the front desk person to get some ice. And she acted like it was an inconvenience for her to get us ice. The shower doors were rusty at the bottom and they tried to caulk them, but it just looked like someone threw stuff at the wall and let it hang there. We were very surprised for a Hyatt to be in the kind of shape this room and the way the employees acted. I think a motel six would’ve been better. If it wasn’t for the fact that it had been a prepaid nonrefundable room we probably should’ve left and gone somewhere else. ||The breakfast staff was wonderful, the food was better than most hotel breakfast, although the eating area was not large enough for the amount of guests that were in the hotel. ||Truly sad that this Hyatt was not up to what I consider Hyatt standards.

The rooms were really nice and spacious. Super comfortable beds. My only complain would be that the shower grout had mold and grime. Using bleach to clean the bathroom would be highly recommended.
