My stay at Extended Stay in Scottsdale AZ was not good! Where to start? I guess I’ll list the issues; 1. The mattress was horrific. It felt like a hideaway sofa bed. I could feel the springs while I laid on it. 2. The first night there the neighboring room decided to sit outside my room from 11:30pm to 2:45am and act as if it was the middle of the day. Loud talking, playing music, squeezing a dogs squeak toy and some electronic kiddie toy were bombarding the whole area. I attempted to contact the front desk but they do not have anyone available after 10pm. I had to call Scottsdale PD at 2am with a noise complaint. 3. The following morning, at 9am, the front desk knocked on my door. She was there with two men from an exterminator service. I was told they needed to spray my room immediately. Nice wake up call after a night of no sleep thanks to the noise. 4. I spent my two night stay annihilating roaches. The exterminator apparently didn’t work. 5. I asked the front desk for an extra blanket. I couldn’t get one unless I paid extra for it. Really? 6. The way the shower curtain is mounted the curtain can’t be tucked into the shower. When I exited the tub I stepped into a lake.
After the time I spent there I can safely say I will NEVER stay at another Extended Stay hotel!!!

Worst hotel experience ever! We arrived and they handed us a list of “things they don’t do anymore!” No daily room cleaning or towels etc. no coffee, breakfast, office was not open 24hrs. Not a huge deal but strange that is how it started. Infested with roaches (see pictures). Didn’t have a shower curtain so when you showered it went all over the floor. Drawers full of crumbs. Garbage behind dresser. I’ve never stayed anywhere more disgusting! Don’t waste your money!

I stayed her for a month and would recommend it for a day or a month. Sara, the new manager has really made this place amazing. She’s extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. She has made it a 5 star experience. The place is super clean and great location.

The address doesn’t take you to the “hotel” I had to drive around for 10 minutes to try and find it, drove down a different street/alley way to eventually find it. As we get there, there’s a sign saying we have to wait to be helped. Drive over to the stairs to our room, get out and there is a dead bird (decapitated) next to the car. Go up to the room and the air is so sticky and smelly. Immediately turn around and leave. Contacted Hotels.com that we did not feel comfortable or safe staying here and we had already left. After waiting 2 hours to talk to someone, I was told he had contacted Extended Stay about a refund and I was all taken care of. Fast forward to Monday, I am now being told I will no longer be receiving a refund and Hotels.com will no longer help. This has been the biggest joke and I will no longer be using Hotels.com or Expedia to book trips in the future, especially knowing they won’t take care of their customers. Let alone ever staying at any ESA, if this is how one was who’s to say they all aren’t like this one. ||Do not waste your money booking here.

Exterior access motel. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Blankets are barely more than tattered sheets. $40 to rent pots and pans for kitchenette. Noise all hours of the night, people walking around outside, talking and yelling. Everything is stained, torn, burnt, and generally dilapidated.

This accommodation can not be beaten for good clean, low cost place to stay with good firm beds in the Scottsdale Quarter within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Also good quick access to all major roads.
Thanks to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable!

Mrs Sara came in and cleaned house. I appreciate this service. Timely response and less mess is definitely worth the stay. In these days i have no complaints or concerns. KEEP ON KEEPING ON.
